Momma I Made it

9/9/19

Everyone that has walked in has complimented me on the tapestry I so had to bring to liven up the space. Hokusai created this woodblock print in the Edo period of Japan, it is called The Great Wave off Kanagawa. (Processed with VSCO with c8 preset)

I made it! After a nine hour flight full of constant giggles from Allannah herself, we walked through a hustlin and bustlin street farmers market with our heavy luggage up quite a steep hill on the American College of Greece’s campus. Rumour has it, this market is the best place to buy fresh fruits and is so much more cost efficient than shopping at the supermarket and is every monday so catch me there September 16 (aka my homie GRACE’s birthday ily). I am living with 10 girls, including myself, in a HUGE Greek flat, so this could be fun yet dangerous when all our period weeks sync up ….YIKES…However I am ready for it all.

My lovely decor posted on the wall of my flat…mood boards, postcards from places I’ve been, my home, fragmented memories of the summer, and letters from people I love.

greek word of the day: γεια σας… pronounced “geia sas” meaning hello
