Mamma Mia here we go again..

9/27/19

Safe to say that my Mamma Mia dreams have been fulfilled. Oh how lovely, Mykonos truly is. This beautiful open air and constant sea breeze is something else.

-Mykonos Windmills of Kato Mili-

You can’t visit Mykonos without seeing the iconic windmills of Kato Mili, because you can see them from all parts of the island. When you are up by them, you are able to see quite the view of the town and Little Venice.

Our AirBnb is just a short 30 minute walk, and 5 minute bus ride from the Mykonos village full of white washed houses, shops and restaurants, we definitely picked the best time to come here, because the island is full of friendly locals and tourists. Today as the nine of us wandered through the narrow walkways we ran into a cute cafe in Little Venice and got ourselves crepes for brekkie.

-Outside of our AirBnb-

As clear as Aegina’s water was, Mykonos’ water of the Aegean Sea is clearer and you can see the ocean floor from above which is CRAZY to me. Swimming in this water is something I cannot even describe to you because it is so refreshing. I am sitting on the beach getting warm enough to go back into the water, it is the usual process, and I am just a little sunkissed. I feel so lucky to be here.

-Ava & I’s view from our room.. AHHHH.. We are blown away-

Golden hour is upon us all and is hitting my new friends with such a glow. The sunset is beautiful and we had ourselves a nice photoshoot and dance party accompanied by wine. There are cats everywhere and Annika wants to take them all back to our flat with her. I, for one, would never be against of this idea.

Hannah, Maddie, Annika, Ava, Morgan & I all experiencing the glow!!

Oh and I almost forgot to tell you folks about Greek food, where do I start, Greek food is by far the best. I have yet to find a dish I do not like. The one that I have been eating a lot of are gyros!! Gyros are packed full of tzatziki sauce, potatoes, lettuce, falafel or chicken/pork (but I, the vegetarian don’t eat meat so falafel it is) & tomato all enclosed in pita bread.

We were able to soak up the whole Cycladic island in the two days that we were there and if you ever find yourself in Greece, I highly recommend it.
